Direct Access Scheme (DAS)

If you are over 21 and fancy riding a big bike then Direct Access is for you. The bike you take your test on must be over 46.5 BHP and on passing the test under this option, you can ride ANY full powered motorcycle immediately.

We use Suzuki GS500's as they are modern, clean, relatively low, very forgiving and easy to ride - a fantastic bike to start on. Whilst undertaking your DAS training you must be accompanied by, and be in radio contact with, a qualified instructor at all times.

All training is conducted on the road to build your skills from CBT level so that you not only learn how to pass your test but we also teach you how to ride safely and competently to deal with real life road situations.

Depending on your ability and experience you may do part of your training on a 125cc to build your confidence to prepare you for the move to the 500cc to complete your training package.

You will need to complete a CBT (or have a current CBT certificate) and you must also have completed the Theory and Hazard Perception Test before you can apply for the motorcycle test.
